High-Quality Features for a High-Quality Performance!

The Celestron SkyMaster Pro ED 15x70 Binoculars are built to provide you with a premier performance! From the ED objective lens to the body design, adding these binoculars to your astronomy setup will provide excellent views while being sturdy enough to last you years to come!

Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) Glass
The Celestron SkyMaster Pro binoculars utilize Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass to virtually eliminate chromatic aberration, also known as color fringing. Chromatic aberration is a visual phenomenon common in magnified optical systems. The SkyMaster Pro ED delivers edge-to-edge sharpness, excellent color correction, and razor-sharp images. It's important to note that not all ED glass is created equal. Celestron uses high-quality ED glass that delivers brighter, sharper images than non-ED binoculars. The difference is especially apparent in low-light conditions.

Objective Lenses
The 70mm objective lenses of the SkyMaster ED Pro offer plenty of light-gathering ability for superior low-light performance. This objective diameter-to-magnification ratio is ideal for scanning skies, observing the Moon and planets, and exploring deep-sky objects. Celestron SkyMaster Pro ED binoculars also make an excellent choice for long-distance land-based viewing, especially at dawn or dusk.

Body Design
Celestron has included a custom-designed rubber armor and a durable chassis to protect your SkyMaster Pro ED binocular from damage. This means that viewing through SkyMaster Pro ED binoculars is comfortable for eyeglass and non-eyeglass wearers alike thanks to the retractable eyecups and nearly 16mm of eye relief. Eyeglass wearers can see the entire field of view by twisting the eyecups down while looking through the eyepiece with their glasses on. Those who do not wear eyeglasses can adjust the eyecup position to the correct distance for optimal viewing.

Filter Compatibility
The Celestron SkyMaster Pro ED binocular eyepieces are threaded to accept standard 1.25” eyepiece filters. When you add the right filter to your binoculars, you can experience game-changing views for terrestrial and celestial observing. When it comes to terrestrial observation, filters can reduce the brightness of sand, snow, and water. For nighttime viewing, the filters can cut glare, minimize eye strain, increase contrast, and potentially combat the effects of light pollution. Remember, the Celestron binoculars need a set of two filters.
